Hisahide Matsunaga was first introduced in Samurai Warriors 4. Hisahide has a cunning yet, voilent character who serves the Oda clan, although not loyal for the reason he doesn't like his destiny fiddled by the hands of Nobunaga Oda. Hisahide wields a harpe and explosives.
Role in the Series[]
In Samurai Warriors 2, Hisahide is seen as employable fire ninja bodyguard.
In Samurai Warriors 4, Hisahide's true reason for joining the Oda clan was for his own ambition, which takes a hit on Nobunaga Oda's conquests. After Hisahide was defeated by the hands of the Oda army, Nobunaga forgave his actions for kidnapping the Shogun at the time, Yoshiaki Ashikaga and thus made him join his army. During his time with the Oda, Hisahide made many attempts to entice key members of the Oda clan, most notably Mitsuhide Akechi and Hideyoshi Hashiba.
