Kagekatsu Uesugi was first introduced in the main series in Samurai Warriors 4. He is the adopted son and successor of Kenshin Uesugi.
Role in the series[]
In Samurai Warriors, Kagekatsu is mostly seen fighting alongside his father Kenshin Uesugi and also alongside the Tokugawa during the Siege of Osaka Castle.
In Samurai Warriors 2 and Samurai Warriors 3, Kagekatsu got more notice after his fathers death, leading the Uesugi army in Hasedo alongside Kanetsugu Naoe.
In Samurai Warriors 4, Kagekatsu serves his father in his early campaigns against the Takeda and Hōjō clans. Kagekatsu also has a complicated relationship with his adopted brother Kagetora Uesugi.
