Role in the series

In Samurai Warriors 2, Kai can be recruited as a bodyguard from the shop.

In Samurai Warriors 3, Kai is a beautiful servant of the Hojo Army, At the time led by Ujiyasu Hōjō. Ujiyasu was her mentor, rather, and gave her advice, but was a straightforward man, to the point. For instance, once Kai told him, "I'll do my best", to which he retorted, "I don't want your best. I want a 'yes sir'!". Ujiyasu perished along Kai's journey, leaving her to serve Hojo's New lord, Ujimasa Hōjō , respectively. Kai was very beautiful, and used her intellect and Sword Whip in battle. She is mentally arrogant, again, and although she is capable in battle, she is also troubled, though, because she lacks charisma. She longs for a man's love, but can't talk to them very well.

Kai, Without her lord, dissapeared for a time. When duty called her, she would fight. In the last battle of her story, she recalls Ujiyasu Hōjō and swears to make him and her new family proud. This family consisted of Yukimura Sanada, Kunoichi, and various others she fought alongside, and vowed to protect. In the last cutscene, She looks up into the sky, most likely heaven, and says, "Am I a fine woman yet, my lord?", Reffering to Ujiyasu himself; on a comment he made to her once, and smiles.

Kai wielded a "Sword Whip" as it should be named, and used it in battle to dispatch attackers, and the distance led to advantage, so she became very powerful, yet somewhat arrogant, from her natural abillity with weapons and her ego. A somewhat feminist, being she believes she can fight better than any man. Due to her Tomboyish Personality, Ujiyasu once quoted, "Well, If it isn't Narita's son." Which upset Kai and she remarked that he was "As rude as ever".
