Keiji Maeda was the nephew of Toshiie Maeda and a War Hungry warrior. Kanetsugu Naoe and Mitsunari Ishida are strong friends of his.
Role in the Series[]
In Samurai Warriors, Keiji is a general under the Oda clan, and participates in most of the Oda's campaigns, although Keiji will sometimes go rouge. Keiji also shares a friendship with Okuni and Goemon Ishikawa whom he sees Keiji as his rival for Okuni's love.
In Samurai Warriors 2, Keiji betrays the Oda clan during the battle of Nagashino, where he bursts out of the Oda's buricades and saves Yukimura Sanada during the gunfire. Keiji shares a friendship with Yukimura and also helps him out in his future decisions. Keiji also shares a friendship with Kanetsugu Naoe in which he loyally serves alongside him under the Uesugi at Hasedo.
In Samurai Warriors 3, He was depicted as a Muscular, Arrogant Fighter with a strong sense of joy in fighting and a love for his people. He was associated with The Uesugi Clan, The Oda Clan, And The Toyotomi Clan (though Briefly). He also seemed to have a mild crush on Kai during the Assualt on Oshi Castle.
