Naomasa Ii is a loyal general under the Tokugawa, and the son of Naotora Ii. He uniquely debuts in Samurai Warriors 4-II.

Role in the Games[]

During his generic appearance in the series, Naomasa is commonly seen fighting for the Tokugawa clan.

In Samurai Warriors 4-II, Naomasa tries to compete himself with Tadakatsu Honda and frequently comments about him not being injured in battle and not risking much for the clan. This results in Naomasa to not get along with other Tokugawa retainers as well. After the Battle of Nagashino, Naomasa is rewarded with the Red Devils title after the death of Masakage Yamagata. After being rewarded with this title, Naomasa continues to fight for the Tokugawa whilst continually gaining more fame for his deeds, up to the Battle of Sekigahara. During this time his mother, Naotora hands Naomasa the Ii clan, gaining much more power and responsibility.

  • "How do you do it, Tadakatsu? You ride into battle with the flimsiest of armor, and still come out unscathed. While I wear this heavy, unwieldy protection and am barely fit to stand. I have a long way to go before I am a warrior of your stature."
