Role in the SeriesEdit
In Samurai Warriors Odawara Castle is one of the few unique castle stages. During Shingen Takeda and Kenshin Uesugi's story stages, the two storm the castle on there own. During the time the castle stage's commander are Ujiyasu Hōjō and Ujimasa Hōjō.
Samurai Warriors 2Edit
In Samurai Warriors 2 Odawara is revamped as a full battlefield. The game focuses on Hideyoshi Toyotomi's final battle against the Hōjō before uniting the land. The castle also is split in two stages, east and west. On one side Hideyoshi leads the attack with the help of Yukimura Sanada, Kanetsugu Naoe, Mitsunari Ishida, whilst on the other side the castle is attacked by the Date, Tokugawa and the Shimazu.
During Kotarō Fūma's story mode, Kotaro betrays the Hōjō clan and storms and assassinate's Ujimasa and Ujinao Hōjō, with the help of the Tokugawa clan.
